Position Overview: They are seeking a skilled Estimator to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in accurately assessing the costs associated with civil engineering and groundworks projects, ensuring our company remains competitive and profitable. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in estimating and a passion for delivering high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to generate detailed cost breakdowns, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead.
• Evaluate potential risks and opportunities associated with each project and incorporate them into cost estimates.
• Prepare and present comprehensive estimates to senior management and clients, explaining the rationale behind the provided figures.
• Review and analyze historical data to improve estimating accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in bid meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the civil engineering or groundworks sector.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.

Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position ranges from 50,000 to 70,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a negotiable package.
