We are looking for an Executive Assistant to Chief Operating Officer to join our Operations Leadership Group .
Title: Executive Assistant to Chief Operating Officer
Salary: £31,000 per annum (inclusive of London weighting)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)
Location: Hybrid*, with head office in Hampstead, London
This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Anthony Nolan. This position sits within the Operations & Patient Services division, which covers areas Donor & Transplantation Services, Patient Services, Laboratory Operations, Cell & Gene Therapy Services, and the Cord Blood Programme.
The Executive Assistant role consists of providing comprehensive administrative and communicative support to the COO across the full range of their work. This includes ensuring all output meets required internal and external deadlines, and to a quality standard.
The Executive Assistant will also line manage the Operations Leadership Group Assistant, to ensure they are enthused and equipped to meet the requirements of their role.
Essential attributes:
- Extensive experience of being an Executive Assistant to a senior manager.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with sensitive situations.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent written, presentation and verbal communications skills.
- An ability to work independently and on own initiative whilst also having the skills and experience to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Line management experience and the ability to hold others to account.
- Enthusiasm, energy and professionalism with a problem-solving approach.
