PlanningHub is seeking talented town planners to join our team in building, shaping, and scaling up our AI-powered platform for answering property development planning questions.
Who We Are: At PlanningHub, our mission is to provide highly accurate, fast, and easy-to-understand answers to property development planning questions, ultimately boosting the delivery of much-needed housing. Currently, sifting through vast amounts of data manually is time-consuming, error-prone, and leads to delays and financial waste. Our platform streamlines this process using software and AI, including LLMs (Large Language Models).
Led by Ewa Moskwiak, a RIBA Chartered Architect, and Prof Harald Braun, specializing in software and AI, our team is expanding to accelerate the development of our platform.

Who We Are Looking For in a Town planner:
We seek talented, experienced and
energetic town planners to lead the transition of complex planning
legislation and policies into a software code.
Your experience as a Town planner:
- minimum 3 years work experience in Town Planning in the UK in either private or public sector
- ability to provide expert advice on planning policies and regulations
- very good understanding of planning policies and their implications on the planning feasibility of development
- experience in working with various projects across multiple geographies
- practical experience in building internet facing web-services
- ability to think analytically
- ability to work under pressure and
often to tight deadlines
Qualifications for a Town planner:
- Degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in planning and project management.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RTPI).
- Strong knowledge of UK planning policies and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of planning across England, Wales,
Scotland and Northern Ireland preferred
Soft Skills
We value commitment, enthusiasm, reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to integrate feedback. Good organizational skills, diligence, independence, and strong teamwork are essential.
Other requirements for a Town planner:
- Candidates should be based in London and willing to commute to Geovation Hub, London EC1V 7EN, daily or when required.
- Availability ASAP in May, with some flexibility offered to suitable candidates.
- We are seeking
candidates permanently based in the UK. Since we require a long-term
