Extraction Service Engineer - Swindon

Full Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Service Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and LEV testing of mist extraction equipment for our clients across Swindon/Wiltshire

Responsibilities:

* Install new mist extraction equipment according to manufacturer specifications and safety regulations.

* Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of existing mist extraction systems.

* Perform LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) testing in accordance with HSE guidelines (HSG258) to ensure optimal performance and compliance.

* Liaise with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.

* Prepare and maintain detailed service reports and documentation.

* Identify and diagnose faults within mist extraction systems.

* Work collaboratively with other engineers and technicians to resolve complex issues.

* Must be electrical bias, or an industrial electrical engineer with sign off.

Skills and Experience:

* Proven experience in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of mist extraction equipment.

* A strong understanding of LEV systems and their operation.

* Experience with LEV testing procedures (HSG258) is highly desirable.

* A working knowledge of health and safety regulations (COSHH).

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* A valid driving license.

* A background working with CNC machines is a significant advantage.
