Wythenshawe, Manchester

14.04 per Hour. 35,000 to 36,000 Basic

Days and Night Rotating. Monday to Thursday 06:45 to 18:45 and18:45 to 06:45.

ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED MACHINE OPERATOR SPECIALISING IN THE PLASTICS INDUSTRY AND HAVE EXPERIENCE OPERATING AND SETTING EXTRUSION MACHINERY ?

This is a great opportunity to join a growing manufacturing who are currently investing heavily on site. This position is a direct reflection of ongoing success within the company. New roles are being created within the extrusion team due to expansion into new markets.

To apply for the role, you must have previous experience as a machine operator within a manufacturing environment. Machine Operators will ideally have experience working within the plastics extrusion industry. Applicants with experience working with PVC will have a considerable advantage.

On a day to day basis, the role will involve starting up, setting and operating injection moulding and or extrusion machines. You will work to bespoke customer specification to manufacture a wide range of products. You will work with a range of plastic raw materials, calibrate machines to be fit for purpose and quality check products to specification. You will work to H&S initiatives at all times. As part of your role, you will be tasked with reducing waste/scrap where possible.

Extrusion Machine Operator:

*Must transfer from a manufacturing background

*Will ideally have plastic extrusion experience

*Will ideally have experience working with PVC

*Will have experience of operating/setting hydraulic machinery
