Full Job Description

Working Hours: 20 hours per week, Weekday evenings and Sunday mornings

Salary: £10.90 per hour 

Here at Birmingham Community Leisure trust our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. We provide affordable access to a wide range of sports and leisure facilities to support healthier and happier people across all segments of the local community. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Facilities Assistant to join the centre. 

In this role you will greet and welcome our customers, providing a friendly, welcoming and sociable environment.

Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust. 

What you'll need to do the role  

This role will see you welcoming and interacting with our customers of all ages and abilities so you will be naturally friendly and helpful using your excellent communication and customer service skills to deliver an exceptional customer experience. 

It is desirable that you have either worked in a sporting or leisure environment, so you are able to advise and promote all of our products and services accordingly. 

You will use your knowledge of health and safety in the workplace to ensure our leisure centre is always kept clean and safe.
