Full Job Description

My client, a local authority based in London is looking for a Facility manager to join the team

The ideal candidate will possess/demonstrate:

• Managing the strategy and internal governance for facilities building management & Capital Projects.

• Ensuring a healthy and safe compliant environment is provided within the corporate building's portfolio, working with the council's corporate Health and Safety team.

• Implementing strategic overview of FM operations including FM energy works and works related to net carbon zero efficiencies through life cycle repairs and/or upgrades.

• Developing the Capital Programme strategy with stakeholders including schools, corporate buildings, riverside defence assets, energy projects across the authority and carbon reduction, ensuring delivery within the Council's capital and procurement strategies.

• Set up, manage, and lead multi-disciplinary and multi-agency project teams for each project where necessary, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

IR35 Status - Outside (Day Rate Negotiable DOE)

Contract Length- 6 - 12 Months.
