Family Law Solicitor – £35,000 - £50,000, depending on experience and expertise – Manchester, UK

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Divorce and Separation: Guide clients through asset division, alimony, and other related matters.
  • Child Custody and Access: Advocate for clients' rights in custody and visitation disputes.
  • Financial Settlements: Negotiate and advocate for fair financial resolutions.
  • Cohabitation and Prenuptial Agreements: Draft and review agreements to protect client interests.
  • Domestic Violence and Protection Orders: Support victims in securing necessary protection.
  • Adoption and Surrogacy: Manage legal processes in compliance with UK laws.
  • Family Mediation: Facilitate dispute resolution through mediation.
  • Non-Molestation Orders: Help clients by securing protection against harassment or threats of violence.
  • Occupation Orders: Assist clients in regulating who can live on a property and exclude or restrict a person's access.
  • Client Satisfaction: Ensure that every client receives the highest standard of service and support tailored to their unique needs and circumstances.

The Person

  • Must be a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
  • At least 5 years in family law, with a strong track record in matrimonial cases, disputes, and child custody matters.

  • Dedicated to client service, with a sensitive and understanding approach to complex personal situations.
