Full Job Description

Our client is a Global Tech business based in stunning offices in Central London, who are seeking a Head of Legal to lead the Global legal team.

This role will report into the GC (who is based in London) and will work closely with the leadership team across all offices.

This is an ideal role for a Corporate Lawyer who has significant inhouse experience and who is keen to be exposed to the commercial and organisational workings of a dynamic and innovative global tech business.

THE ROLE:

This position will manage a team of c. 10+ globally and will look after a broad range of work, including:

• Drafting and implementing internal policies and procedures
• Legal and Compliance training
• Advising on IP, Technology, Data Protection, Regulatory Compliance, Employment etc
• Responsibility for regulatory advise
• Advising on any legal Issues that may arise from technology launches, new products or services.

THE CANDIDATE:

• UK Qualified solicitor (10-15 years pqe)
• Experience of both Private Practice and ia MUST
• A strong Corporate background is vital with experience dealing with regulatory and securities related matters.
• Significant experience drafting and negotiating client-facing commercial contracts.
• Strong leadership experience managing a global team.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships with juniors within the team as well as senior stakeholders.
