Full Job Description

Applicants must be based in Tyneside, UK.

Do you have retail experience? Enjoy working in a customer-facing role but want to try something new?  A career in care could be perfect for you. 

Pay:  £10.70 p/hr

  • Mileage - 40p per mile
  • 2 x part-time roles

Bonus schemes *: up to £300 new starter bonus (based on hours worked), £300 Refer a Friend, £250 annual bonus, £25 birthday gift voucher.

As a  Support Worker , you will be offered a full-time working pattern on a week 1 and week 2 shift pattern, which includes:

  • Alternate weekend working
  • Early and Late Shifts

Example shift pattern:

  • Working on a 2-week rota
  • Working 1 weekend in a fortnight

We need caring, kind, compassionate people to work across the Newcastle area providing high-quality person-centred care in the Support Worker role. Locations include - Byker & Walker, Fawdon & Gosforth, West Denton & Westerhope, Fenham & Benwell .

Training

  • Paid induction training: classroom-based, includes shadowing and additional online modules.
  • Additional learning disabilities, autism and mental health training: provided to all new recruits - equipping you to meet the needs of our customers and enabling you to provide tailored, personalised support. Training delivered by our amazing specialist trainer Suzanne.
  • Training development: funded Level 2 and other accredited courses.

As a  Support Worker, you will provide care and support to meet individual personal care needs. Being an integral part of our employee-owned organisation and a valued member of the team.

You do not need care experience. If you have the right values, we will provide the training you need to be an outstanding Support Worker.
