Field Sales Representative

Salary: 45-50,000 (including travel expenses)

Benefits: Commission, bonuses and other client-led incentives

Location: South/West London (field based with some working from home and HQ)

As a Field Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in expanding my client's customer base while nurturing existing relationships. This field-based position offers a blend of new business development and maintaining customer satisfaction, with occasional visits to their headquarters.

My client is an independent wholesaler operating and delivering 7-days a week throughout South East England. They sell products and services to the hospitality and retail industry. Requirements to be a Field Sales Representative:

• Grow and develop both new and existing customer base
• Foster strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs to provide tailored solutions
• Follow up promptly on new leads and negotiate contracts to secure business
• Provide ongoing support to address customer concerns and inquiries
• Make accurate cost calculations to provide customers with quotations
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and service excellence
• Attend weekly team meetings via video platform and monthly team meetings at HQ
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations

Person Specification for this Field Sales Representative role:

• Previous field sales experience
• Clean driving license
• Industry knowledge and experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Strategic thinker with strong organisational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in IT systems including Word and Excel
