MS454 - Field Service Crane Engineer

Location: Belfast

Salary:  £30,784 per annum basic

Overview:  First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Crane Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The working hours for this role is Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 16:30 & Friday 8:00 - 13:00.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out service inspection contracts.
• Refurbishment and modernisation projects.
• Installation, testing and certification of overhead cranes and hoists.
• Liaise with customers on work scope, safety procedures and method statements.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures.
• Ensure paperwork is kept up to date and completed accurately.
• Personal presentation and communication standards are excellent.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Relevant trade qualifications.
• Experience with overhead cranes and hoists.
• Clean current driving licence.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Willingness to work 24 hour call out rota.

Desirable:

• Working knowledge of LOLER 98.
• M.E.W.P.S licence.
• CSR Card.
• Experience with Demag products preferred but not essential.
