Our client is a leading supplier of vehicle wash systems and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Field Service Engineer.
Covering the South West region the Field Service Engineer will have excellent mechanical engineering and basic 3-phase electrical fault find and repair skills.
The Role:
Reporting to the Service
Manager the Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the
installation, service, maintenance and repair of automated vehicle
wash equipment located throughout the South West UK.
Duties will
include but is not limited to the following;
- Mechanical & electrical fault find and repair
- Removal and replacement of broken or worn parts
- 3-phase electrical fault find and repair working with controls panels, motors, contactors, relays, switches, etc etc
- Mechanical maintenance and repair compressors, hydraulics, pumps etc etc
- Maintain adequate stock of spare and replacement parts in van & stores.
- Ensure all completed works and sign off documentation is complete.
Candidates:
You will be a competent
mechanical engineer with good 3-phase electrical fault find and repair
skills.
The field service engineer will be comfortable working
outdoors and although the hours of work is 8am to 5pm you will be
flexible to undertake occasional early or later starts.
Ideally you will have a recognised mechanical engineering
qualification e.g. NVQ3 or City & Guilds and applicants with
electrical qualifications will be beneficial.

Work:
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Competitive basic salary 35K
