Are you a field service
engineer with experience working on heavy plant equipment, looking for
an exciting new role within a company who are proud be the market
leader in the metal crushing industry and who will offer you
opportunities to increase your earnings through generous overtime
rates?
In this role you will play an integral part of a small
team made up of ten skilled service engineers and where you will be
responsible for performing routine & breakdown maintenance, conducting
repairs as well as diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment
issues.
The company have been established since 1974 and have
grown exponentially to become a leading dealership producing multiple
product ranges. As a leading provider in the scrap metal, ports,
construction, quarrying and waste industries, the company are getting
ready to roll out their new fleet of top of the range machinery to
continue strengthening its position as the best provider in the
market. As a service engineer you will be a part of the tight knit
service team repairing, refurbishing and servicing a multitude of
machinery and equipment including material handlers, excavators, scrap
processing machinery and bailers.
This role would suit a service engineer looking for a stable, days-based role within a leading company who provide opportunities for upskilling yourself through training where you can increase your earnings through overtime.
THE ROLE:
- Undertake serving and repair of heavy plant machinery, including large material handlers / excavators, crap processing machinery
- Perform fault diagnostics on electrical and hydraulic systems of heavy plant machinery
- Carry out repairs and fault finding to engines, hydraulic systems and general maintenance
- Working on New recycling machinery and installing processing plant throughout and the UK
- Working on refurbishing machines to an acceptable standard for resale or for customers
- Working hours 8am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday
- Over time paid after 40 hours at time
THE PERSON:
- Experienced mechanical maintenance engineer
- Heavy plant experience
- Experience working on 12/14-volt equipment
