Full Job Description

The role of Field Service Technician will be based in West Bromwich and will involve travelling to various customer locations in across the area to carry out essential repairs and maintenance. This opportunity pays an excellent salary of 35,000 per year (depending on experience) working days Monday-Friday with plenty of opportunities for paid overtime.

Description

The role of Field Service Technician will involve:

• Carrying out essential maintenance and servicing to our hire machinery either at the depot or on-site with a range of clients.
• Offering breakdown resolutions and an effective repairs service to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
• The ideal Engineer will have worked in a similar role previously, with a background in mobile plant products and/or agricultural/mechanical engineering.
• Travelling to various customer locations across the West Midlands.

Profile

The successful Field Service Technician will have:

• Experience of repairing and servicing plant equipment to include Telehandlers.
• Valid driving licence.
• A recognised mechanical qualification in mechanical plant or agricultural engineering.
• Been apprentice trained with an NVQ Level 3.
• Candidates with a HGV or bus mechanics background will also be considered.
