Job Description

We are currently seeking a Field Service & Logistics Lead to join the Aurora Business Project Team on the Global Service Transformation and the successful implementation of strategic operational software, with particularly focusing on field service and logistics. As a Field Service & Logistics Lead, you will be responsible for your own learning and self development under the guidance of the Application Lead as well as the following below:

Field Service & Logistics Business Lead

  • Responsible for Field Technician adoption of ServiceMax. 
  • Ambassador for Field Technicians to gauge & monitor Technician satisfaction. 
  • Monitor adoption of field service applications & support continuous improvement.
  • Checklist Maintenance & Management: 
  • Working with the field service working group to identify enhancements & new requirements
  • Coordinating feedback from technicians and working with the service technical team to agree changes to checklists
  • Working with product managers and service technical team to develop new checklists
  • Liaison with technical support teams to manage the implementation of changes and new checklists 
  • Responsible for business processes for service logistics & service procurement, with close collaboration with domain Business Process Owners (BPO’s) & Functional Process Owners (FPO’s)
  • Run working groups, ensuring regular communication including but not limited to the following topics: 
  • Assist the BU’s with achieving group objectives
  • Support end users with education & adoption of best practices
  • Ensuring BU’s are aligned with the service transformation objectives
  • Developing Service Applications 
  • Administrative Duties - Including, but not limited to: 
  • Maintenance of the Aurora website, to ensure information is up to date
  • Scheduling of meetings relating to any of the above topics
  • Updates via Osmose news when required

ServiceMax Application - Run Mode

  • Application Maintenance: 
  • Assist with UAT Execution for releases
  • SNOW Ticket Monitoring - Dashboard & monitoring report review with L2
  • Educate BU’s on core model process flows for managing 
  • Output Documents
  • User Language/translations
  • User experience
  • List View maintenance 
  • Provide educational communication to the field service & logistics end users, including but not limited to tips & tricks, newsletters etc 
  • Change Management:
  • Assist application lead with evaluating new change requests in the field service & logistics modules
  • Assist with validation of business prioritisation & value of change requests 
  • Help to prepare business cases to support critical incident/change request deployments for field service & logistics
  • Review of TDDs created in relation to field service & logistics change requests to ensure business requirement has been met
  • Communicate with all stakeholders on UAT activities 
  • Recurrent request management
  • Ensure business priorities are provided for recurrent requests for field service & logistics
  • Liaise with L2 on estimations and efficiency of providing recurrent requests

ServiceMax Application - Implementation

  • Assist with ServiceMax implementation team in delivery of new service functions related to field service & logistics modules 
  • Support business preparation for implementation
  • UAT - Support and coordination of UAT with business and other required parties, including liaising with the supplier on capturing incidents and resolving of issues and retesting with the business
  • Develop the training tools for implementation of ServiceMax, including videos, work instructions & training guides on field service & logistics modules
  • Provide support for Trainers in end user training.
  • Assist with Cutover/Go Live Activities
  • Provide Go Live & Post Go Live support for ServiceMax.

While this role is primarily focused on field service & logistics, there will be involvement on the other Aurora modules as and when required.

Qualifications

General requirements for the role:

  • 2-5 years of proven experience of participating in project implementation
  • Advantage if experienced in any of the following software packages: JD Edwards, Cognos, Salesforce, ServiceMax
  • Experienced in Field Service delivery
  • Experienced in Logistics processes
  • Experience in software implementation, preparation of business process documentation, end user training
  • Project administration
  • Process oriented
  • Effective time management and multitasking
  • Proactive, responsive and takes initiative
  • Punctuality and professionalism
  • Organised and attention to detail
  • Problem solving and effective teamwork
  • Interpersonal skills - Ability to communicate effectively, including writing skills.
  • Overseas travel required, flexible working hours required.
  • Evaluation and report writing.
  • Experience of delivering training at a variety of levels.

Additionally, having the following is a bonus!
