Field Services Engineer

Full Job Description

Gilbert Meher are partnered with a manufacturer of large-scale pharmaceutical equipment and clean rooms, looking for a Field Service Engineer.

You’ll be responsible for managing a customer-base throughout the UK, with some additional European travel, taking responsibility for the servicing and testing of the product range and ensuring continued compliance with GMP standards.

With a primary focus on after-sales activity, you will work with the customer base to deliver on-site servicing of the Containment product range. E.g. airflow testing, DOP testing, Particle Testing, Electrical Fault Finding.

Other responsibilities include:

• Lead on all servicing activities for purchased customer equipment.
• Ensure correct execution of documentation (e.g. service sheets, IQ).
• Submit status reports on time and in line with company protocol.
• Hand all sales enquiries back to the sales teams, and support with the promotion of service and upgrade sales.
• Organise your schedule to ensure all customers are seen in line with timing expectations.

Requirements:

• Engineering apprenticeship qualified.
• Valid UK driver’s license.
• Must have experience with air flow testing, calibrations and filter integrity testing.
• Must have experience working in a GMP environment, ideally with pharmaceutical customers.
• Able to travel up to 4 days/nights at week (average 3), throughout the UK. Around 20% overnight travel required.
• Can be based remotely in the UK, but willing to travel to the office in the north of England every few months.
