The Field supervisor is a Full-Time, Permanent 40 hours a week position. 

£23,000 - £25,000 Annual Salary

Job Purpose :

A Field Supervisor oversees and enhances home care services by conducting client assessments, supervising staff, maintaining records, and ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to clients in their homes

Your primary responsibility is to ensure that our clients receive the right level of support and top-quality care services. You'll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our clients' wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support care consultations, service reviews, and the creation of client support plans.
  • Conduct staff supervisions and client quality assessments.
  • Maintain accurate client and Care Professional records using Home Instead software and People Planner.
  • Assist with digital care planning and update client care plans as needed.
  • Facilitate client and Care Professional introductions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Conduct client reviews and take necessary actions based on feedback.
  • Mentor and provide support to Care Professionals, ensuring they deliver high-quality care.
  • Stay in regular contact with both clients and Care Professionals.
  • Participate in on-call duties as required, including occasional cover for care visits.
  • Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity, and Equal Opportunities Policy, both in employment and service delivery.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by your line manager as necessary for the business's success.

Essential Criteria :

  • Hold a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or be willing to work towards obtaining it.
  • Possess prior experience in the care sector, delivering a wide range of personal care services.
  • Experience with medicines administration records (MAR) and medication supervision.
  • Demonstrated passion for providing the highest quality care to help clients live independently and happily in their own homes.
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations specific to Health and Social Care.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport quickly.
  • Confidence in using care management technology and providing support and training to Care Professionals.
  • A valid driver's licence and access to transportation if required for client visits.
  • Organised and flexible, with the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the business.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual communication platforms, with a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and software as needed.
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality while working within current legislation.
