Full Job Description

We have a great opportunity for someone to join our team to provide technical support to APC coatings customers.

The main responsibilities for this individual will be:

• Provide onsite technical support to existing & new customers.
• Manage line trials to develop new business.
• Carry out local colour or application adjustment for urgent needs.
• Co-ordinate regional colour updates between colour departments.
• Work with Area Sales Managers to provide solution based selling opportunities.
• Conduct plant and process auditing and producing subsequent reports for guidance on areas of concern and improvement.
• Investigate and solve quality problems.
• Build relationships with key plastics accounts and trust in Axalta service level.
• Acting as a member of EMEA technical team to grow own knowledge and competencies about Axalta plastic coating products and application processes.

We are looking for an individual who has:

• Knowledge of both solvent and waterborne paint technology
• Knowledge of application, products and technologies
• Knowledge of matching/shading colour and effect differences
• Excellent time management and self-organization ability
• Good communication skills
• Good level of IT users skills; Create presentations/analysis and present in front of internal/external audience

This role will be fully remote with travel to customers regularly in Warrington and Measham.

The ideal candidate will be based up North or Birmingham along M6 corridor to allow a maximum commute of up to 1.5 hours to customers above.

The normal contractual hours of work will be 37.5 hour per week, Monday to Friday with potential to work additional hours if needed.

A company car will be provided and the individual will be eligible for a 5% annual bonus based on KPIs set by the UK & Scandinavia Sales & Service Manager.
