The Opportunity:

• Join an engaging team of film, TV and theatre specialists and work closely with partners and senior lawyers who are ranked in multiple independent legal directories.
• Focus primarily on theatre work as well as some film, TV and general entertainment industry work.
• Work will include, but not be limited to, advising on and acquiring rights for productions, negotiating and drafting agreements, advising on contractual matters, financing and other structuring work, and dealing with a variety of potential legal issues in the day-to-day running of productions.

You will have:

• 2-4 years’ PQE within commercial law, ideally with some experience in film, tv, theatre or a related sector.
• An enthusiasm for the entertainment industry.
• The ability to provide accurate legal advice and maintain ongoing thorough knowledge of how the theatre business works and the terms of its deals.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice.
• Excellent client relations skills.
