While not requiring essential travel, you may want to occasionally visit site’s to offer firsthand insight into the projects you contribute to & see your projects come to life.

What You’ll be doing?

• Supporting business partnering for the Operations Team to assess options and drivers of current and future performance.
• Providing high-quality insight and analysis to optimize decision-making.
• Presenting key topics to senior management.
• Supporting planning processes, developing, analysing, and challenging major assumptions.
• Determining financial options/implications of decisions/initiatives.
• Ensuring timely budget submissions to the FP&A team & SHV Energy.
• Delivering quarterly forecasts with accuracy reviewed and reported regularly.
• Supporting projects and reviews, presenting findings and recommendations for strategic objectives.
• Conducting post-investment reviews, financial projections, scenario planning, financial modelling, and business analysis.
• Collaborating with System Administrators & Business Accountants to provide data for self-service & standard reporting.
• Providing ad hoc analysis & decision support.
• Supporting the wider finance team through mentoring & coaching.
• Collaborating with the team to achieve results.
• Providing financial support, insight, and challenge to one of the business's four regions.
• Attending regional meetings and presenting financial results and KPIs.

What you’ll need?

• Professional qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with approximately 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Effective communication at all levels, including senior management and executives.
• Strong influencing and decision-making skills across various business levels.
• Practical experience providing financial analysis and support to Business Stakeholders, ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Expertise in financial analysis techniques, including excel, financial modelling, new business evaluations, investment appraisals & due diligence.
• High-level understanding of working with computerized systems and PC databases.
• Strong project management skills and deadline focus.
