Finance Business Partner - Manufacturing
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Fantastic Bonus &

Elevation Senior Finance is currently looking to
recruit a Finance Business Partner on behalf of an Innovative
Manufacturing organisation in Huddersfield.
If you are a
commercially focused accountant with a passion for operations and
being involved in the wider business, then this is a fantastic and
exciting opportunity within a fast-growing manufacturing business. You
will be working closely with senior management to increase the
company’s efficiency and profitability by assisting with the
formulation of both the medium and long-term financial plan. Along
with being involved in the commercial and operational decision making
which will shape the path the business takes over the next few years.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate in business tactical and strategic discussions
- Identify opportunities for business improvement
- Review and maintenance of product costing by SKU on a regular basis
- Advise on the impact of any pricing and cost changes
- Assist with pricing decisions for customers including the utilisation of increased production capacity
- Collaborate with department managers to develop and maintain departmental budgets on a monthly basis
- Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving profitability and cost efficiency
- Review key spend variances on a monthly basis in partnership with the Financial Controller
- Provide financial support and guidance to enable effective decision-making within the departments, especially the sales function
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall business efficiency
- Oversee financial aspects of various projects, including capex, ensuring timely and accurate reporting on project financial performance
- Collaborate with project managers to evaluate project profitability and identify areas for improvement
- Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost optimisation
- Conduct regular reviews of operational expenses in partnership with Procurement and provide recommendations for improvement
- Introduce new software solutions to enhance financial reporting, analysis, and project management
- Support the transition to a more efficient and automated management information system
- Support with monitoring and external reporting such as Sustainability
Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:
- CIMA, ACCA OR ACA Qualified
- Recent relevant experience in Manufacturing
- Stakeholder management and influencing
- Commercial and operational decision support
- Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel
