Full Job Description

Adele Carr Financial Recruitment is partnering with a growing SME in Liverpool who are keen to appoint a Finance Officer on a full time, permanent basis.

The ideal applicant will be keen to progress and seeking a new job in a growing industry. This role has come up as a result of new business wins and financial growth within the business.

You will be working autonomously at times, and be skilled in a number of administrative disciplines to ensure an
efficient and professional service is provided to all stakeholders.

Knowledge of multiple-currency bank reconciliations is essential for this role; however, training will be given.

What you'll be doing:

• Daily multiple-currency bank reconciliations
• Auditing and processing employee expense claims
• Company credit card management
• Assisting with year-end audit requirements
• Reconciling and servicing key suppliers
• Monthly sales analysis
• Purchase ledger assistance
• Holiday cover for other duties within the Finance function
• Key data logging
• Producing ad-hoc analysis and reports as required

What you'll need for the role:

• Proven track record of working in a comparable role
• Demonstrable experience of working within an office environment
• IT literate with the ability to use a range of software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Graduate level with a desire to train as an Accountant
• Proactive individual, willing to learn and develop
• Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills
• Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues, customers and business contacts alike
• Methodical, with strong attention to detail
