An independent financial planning firm located in Witney, Oxfordshire, are seeking a motivated and experienced Financial Adviser to join their team.

As a Financial Adviser, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive financial planning services to your established portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for assessing clients' financial situations, understanding their needs, and developing personalised financial plans to help them achieve their financial objectives. Your main objective will be to provide expert advice, guidance, and recommendations to our clients, ensuring they make informed decisions regarding their finances.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth financial reviews for clients, analysing their financial status, goals, risk tolerance, and current financial performance.
  • Develop customised financial plans based on clients' individual needs and goals
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, investment products, and financial regulations to provide the most relevant and accurate advice to clients.
  • Monitor clients' financial plans regularly and make necessary adjustments to ensure they remain aligned with clients' changing life circumstances and financial goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships built on trust, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand client relationships and grow the firm's client base through referrals and networking.

Skills/Experience

  • A proven track record as a Financial Adviser, ideally within an independent financial planning firm.
  • Hold a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess clients' financial situations and develop suitable financial plans.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
