An opportunity for an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join a successful and growing Chartered wealth management firm in East Hampshire!

Job Title: Financial Planning Administrator

Location: East Hampshire, office based

Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 dependent on experience and skills, plus bonus

About the firm:

Capio Recruitment is working with an award winning, Chartered wealth management firm based in Alton, East Hampshire who are looking to expand their Administration team. The firm itself is a is a large regional IFA, currently managing in excess of £700 million of assets for their private client base. Founded over 25 years ago, they are a highly profitable business, with a strong balance sheet, and have recently awarded 'Best Investment Management Solutions UK 2021'.

The firm provides both astute investment management and comprehensive financial advice and planning, while their financial planners provide an unusually personal relationship with their clients and are supported by a first class administration team, in house investment department and technical planning unit.

The role:

As a Financial Planning Administrator within the firm, you will work closely with the Advisers, Paraplanners and the wider teams in the business to ensure a smooth process for their clients, whilst also putting them at the heart of everything you do.

You will be part of a fast-paced team who provide full end to end administrative support to a bank of clients ensuring they always receive a high level of service, and in return, the company will provide full training, ongoing support and a chance to progress your career in financial services!

So, if you are an experienced administrator looking for a step up or a change, this could be the role for you! You will be assigned your own bank of clients while working closely with the advisers.

Skills required:

  • Previous experience as a financial planning or IFA administrator within a wealth management firm in essential.
  • A workingknowledge of IO or other widely used systems is essential.
  • Strong administration, analytical andcommunication skills is essential.
  • Any industry relevant exams through the CII or LIBF are not essential but highly advantageous.
  • Experience in providing client valuations, submitting business and preparing client and adviser packs for annual reviews and ad-hoc meetings.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills - telephone and written word.
  • Experience using all programmes such as Word, Excel and Outlook
