The
Responsibilities of a Staff Nurse (RGN) within the Nursing Home
Encompass:
- Ensuring the utmost standard of
care, well-being, and safety for all residents
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and appraisals
- Devising individualized care blueprints and continually
updating them
- Interfacing with external regulatory
bodies and agencies
- Ensuring adherence to statutory
prerequisites, encompassing record maintenance, documentation, health,
and safety
- Guiding and mentoring junior staff
members
- Executing designated tasks delegated by the
Home Manager
Requirements
Prerequisites for the Staff
Nurse (RGN) Position:
- Essential Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
- Active NMC PIN or anticipation of NMC PIN approval
- Clear DBS Record
