Job Title – Finishing Foreman
Sector – New Build   
Rate - £25ph
Location –  Ashton-Under-Lyne   
Start Date – ASAP
   
The Company
My client is a well-established housing developer who is based in the North-West area. They have established a reputation for excellent quality and outstanding customer service, resulting in them becoming one of the most trusted brands in the North West.

Due to a large increase in workload, they have an immediate start for an experienced Finishing Foreman or Assistant Site Manager for about 10 weeks work.

The Role
As the Finishing Foreman or Finishing Manger your main duties will be to manage the finishing aspects of the houses, snagging, organising sub-contractors to carry out the works to a high standard.  

• 07.30 – 16.30 = 8.5 Paid Per Day / Saturdays 07.30 – 13.00 = 8.5 Hour Paid
• Work alongside Site Manager & Site Team
• Responsible for ensuring that trades and subcontractors complete works to a high standard to completion
• Prepare necessary snag lists
• Delegating/Managing trades and sub-contractors
• Maintaining and promoting Health & Safety and environmental standards (EQS)
• Liaise with other department managers and other members of the construction team
• Reporting to the Site Manager on Health & Safety, site logistics, progression of work

About You
As a Finishing Foreman or Finishing Manager you will ideally come from a trade’s background and have a minimum 3 years experience carrying out a similar role.
You will be highly motivated and be able to work in a busy, pressured environment and have proven experience working to tight deadlines.

• Proven track record working for a leading house build developer
• Eye for detail
• Experience of managing Sub-Contractors
• Have excellent customer and business communication skills
• SMSTS 5 Day Health & Safety or SSSTS
• CSCS Supervisor Card
• First Aid At Work

  
The Opportunity
For your skills and experience they can offer an hourly rate of £25.00ph working Monday to Thursday 07.30 – 16.30 Friday 15.30 finish. There is also the Saturday work finishing at 1pm but paid the full shift.
