Job Title: Fire and Security Engineer

Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire, UK

The company is a prominent provider of cutting-edge fire and security solutions, committed to safeguarding businesses and homes across Tamworth and its neighbouring cities and towns. As our operations expand, they are in search of a skilled and dedicated Fire and Security Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fire Protection Services: Installation, and maintenance of fire protection services, including fire alarms, extinguishers, and related safety equipment.

2. Security Systems, Access Control & CCTV: Install, and maintain advanced security systems, access control, and CCTV solutions, utilizing the latest technology to enhance overall security measures.

3. Emergency Lighting: Implement and maintain emergency lighting systems, guaranteeing visibility and safety during power outages or emergency situations.

4. Planned Reactive Maintenance: Conduct both planned and reactive maintenance activities, responding promptly to service calls to address issues and uphold the reliability of fire and security systems.

5. Fire & Security Maintenance: Manage routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarms, extinguishers, and other critical components, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in full design, installation, and maintenance of fire and security systems.

* In-depth knowledge of fire alarm systems, extinguishers, security systems, access control, CCTV, and emergency lighting.

* Relevant qualifications and certifications in fire and security engineering.

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
