FIRE DOOR INSPECTOR & COMPARTMENTATION SURVEYOR NEEDED FOR FIRE SAFTEY AND PASSIVE FIRE STOPPING COMPANY.
TITLE: Fire Door
Inspector – Fire Surveying, Compartmentation & Fire Stopping
PACKAGE:
£35,000 - £45,000
Fire industry
training.
Vehicle, fuel, laptop and phone and all tools to carry
out role provided.
Internal admin support for
inspectors.
Pension, holidays + bank holidays, a day for charitable
use and overnight expenses.
LOCATION:
South West / M5
Corridor - e.g. Bristol, Bath, Stroud, Cirencester, Cheltenham,
Gloucester, Swindon,, Newport, etc.

ROLE:
Fire Door Inspector – Fire Surveying,
Compartmentation & Fire Stopping
A fire door and passive fire
inspector will be carrying out surveys across a range of property
types and locations. All assessments to be completed on company
software.
If you have the previous training you will be performing
fire compartmentation surveys.
The majority of properties assessed
will be Social Housing. Educational, Commercial, Universities and
Student accommodation but not confined to these.
The role involves
traveling around the South West / M5 Corridor areas e.g. Bristol,
Bath, Stroud, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Swindon, Newport,
etc
EXPERIENCE
Fire Door Inspector – Fire Surveying,
Compartmentation & Fire Stopping
You should have experience working
with fire doors or with passive fire compartmentation.
You could
range in experience from a carpenter working on fire door remedials to
a qualified fire compartmentation surveyor.
FDIS or Abbe training
is highly preferable.
You must not be afraid of heights or confined
spaces.
Driver's license is essential.
You should be happy
to commute around the South West counties - e.g. Bristol, Dorset,
Gloucestershire, Somerset, and Wiltshire
