Chubb has an opportunity for an experienced and qualified, self-employed , Fire Risk Assessors to sub-contract to our team, to enable us to continue to fulfil the needs of our ever-growing customer base
Job Description
- The main focus of this role is to provide high quality fire risk assessments to our customers.
- Provide market leading, comprehensive and innovative fire safety advice.
- Covering the Yorkshire region of UK
Qualifications
- Must have previous experience of completing Fire Risk Assessments.
- National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management or an International Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management
- Knowledge of current relevant fire legislation and building regulations as a minimum.
- Good written communications skills for report writing
- Technical knowledge of fire safety and building materials
- Commercial focus with an ability to understand a client's risks and drivers
- IT skills including Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel
- An ability to prioritise your workload to meet agreed deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills
- An ability to work independently, using your own initiative
- Technical understanding in areas such as fire dynamics, heat transfer and smoke behaviour principles in enclosed environments.
- Full UK driving licence is required
