The Fleet Engineer will oversee the maintenance, repair, and safety compliance of a large commercial vehicle fleet. They will also liaise with external service providers to ensure all vehicles are operational and compliant with transport regulations.

Description
- Manage and maintain the fleet of commercial vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with all transport regulations and safety standards.
- Liaise with external service providers for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Implement and monitor safety procedures for the fleet.
- Develop strategies for fleet optimisation and cost-efficiency.
- Handle the administrative tasks related to fleet management.
- Coordinate with the engineering & manufacturing department for technical support.
- Provide regular reports on fleet performance and maintenance to senior management.
Profile
A successful Fleet Engineer should have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (desired, not essential).
- Extensive knowledge of commercial vehicles and transport regulations.
- Strong managerial and organisational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to work.
- Good communication skills to liaise with external service providers and internal teams.
