Flexographic Printing Operator

Full Job Description

Extrastaff are currently recruiting for a Flexographic Printing Operator for a well-established family run company based in Desborough. This is a great opportunity for someone to progress within a busy environment. You will be working within the warehouse The role primarily involves reactive maintenance with a focus on pre-planned maintenancesupporting around 30 production units, including extruders, printers, and converters.

Shifts: Dayshift & Nightshift, Monday to Thursday

Day Shift: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

Night Shift: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

Pay: Starting from 12.75 per hour, negotiable based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute precise job setups and print runs with meticulous attention to detail.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and maintain optimal printing standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations.
• Operate flexographic printing presses proficiently to meet production goals.
• Perform efficient and accurate job changes on machinery.
• Monitor and regulate print quality to meet and surpass customer specifications.
• Conduct thorough color adjustments and quality checks for precise color matching.
• Optimize press speeds to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
• Maintain comprehensive production records and paperwork accurately.
• Uphold strict standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the workspace.
• Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures, including health and safety protocols and quality assurance measures.
