Our Haulfryn family has a fantastic opportunity for a full time Operational Trainer  to join our prestigious and exclusive beach front The Warren & Spa Holiday Resort at The Warren in Abersoch, North Wales.  

The Operational Trainer will support the parkoperations team in all operational training from training needs analysis to creation/delivery and then evaluation of all operational training, ensuring that allteam members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to carry outtheir duties efficiently and effectively in order to deliver a 5-star customerexperience.

What Will You Do

  • Create,develop and ensure the delivery of the park operational training schedule / calendarto support the full employee lifecycle, through team and manager engagement inperformance & development, operational, compliance & other training. Workingin partnership with the relevant heads of department to ensure it achieves itsobjectives.
  • Coursecreation, development, and delivery, with a particular emphasis on alloperational training. Identify and employ the most appropriate method/ mediumof training for delegates
  • Maintainup-to date knowledge of Learning and Development best practice and ensure thisis embedded into all learning and development
  • Leadthe Apprenticeship Programme on park to ensure apprenticeships areappropriately delivered, tracked and reported. Support the development andrunning of Academies.
  • Evaluatetraining effectiveness and make improvements and recommendations for anyoperational improvements.  Monitor andmeasure on park Learning & Development provision and ROI to providemeaningful information to aid decision making and operational planning.
  • Communicateseffectively with the Park Management team and other senior management about alloperational training
  • Supportother training (e.g. induction) as needed       


What Will You Bring

  • Proven track record within an operational training delivery role,ideally with Hospitality industry with Food and Beverage training experience
  • Skilled in training content creation
  • Innovativeand engaging trainer focused on delivery results that benefit the customerexperience.
  • IdeallyCIPD qualified or equivalent, or working towards a relevant training qualification
  • Othertraining accreditations (such as Insights Practitioner) not essential but advantageous
  • Currentknowledge of effective learning and development methods
  • Provenexperience in a training role covering a broad range of subjects/skills,including soft skills, technical/operational and mandatory/compliance(H&S, food hygiene)
  • Experienceof managing Learning Management Systems or designing and evaluatinge-learning courses advantageous
  • Provenexperience of coaching and developing others
  • Previousexperience of supporting Apprenticeships
  • Proficientwith Microsoft Office suite –   Word,Excel, PowerPoint (advanced), Outlook (advanced), OneDrive, Teams, Yammer
  • Experience of working within large teams or on yourown ability, in a fast-paced environment
  • Abilityto build advanced powerpoint content incorporating latest trends anddevelopments
  • High levels of flexibility and adaptability
  • Flawless communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise a changing workload, workingwith pace and a positive energy and outlook
  • Self-motivated;flexible; accountable, innovative; inclusive and disciplined in approach
  • Ability toprioritise and manage your own time and work on own initiative
