Full Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Facade Manager to join a prestigious Tier 1 main contractor. They have been in the construction industry for a long time and have alot of work upcoming for the year.

This is a freelance contract which initially will last for 12 months, but following on from this contract, there is no reason why the contractor will not keep you on for longer term if you impress.

You will be a Facade Manager on a large commercial development in Cambridge where your responsibilities will include:

• Developing the external envelope
• Managing the curtain walling
• Staying on top of the site team to ensure the project is running smoothly on time
• Attend/Lead the Site Daily Briefing each morning and dissipate this to the workforce under your control
• Ensure all operatives under your control have the necessary training in place for the tasks ahead
• Organise for housekeeping of work areas to be completed on at least a daily basis

To be applicable for this role you must possess a valid SMSTS and have experience in the management industry.
