Freelance Senior Sketchup 3D Designer

An award winning branding and retail design studio are seeking a skilled and experienced Freelance Senior 3D Designer proficient in SketchUp to join their team from July 12th to July 25th. This position requires a strong background in high-end retail design and Sketchup use, with a focus on creating visually stunning 3D renderings and designs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute high-quality 3D designs and renderings using SketchUp.
• Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Create detailed 3D models, layouts, and visualizations for retail environments.
• Utilize your expertise in high-end retail design to create visually appealing and functional designs.
• Work closely with clients to understand their specific design needs and incorporate their feedback into the final designs.
• Deliver projects within specified timelines while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Participate in design review meetings and provide creative input and suggestions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and tools in the industry.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a 3D Designer, with a focus on high-end retail design.
• Proficiency in SketchUp and other related design software.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in 3D design and rendering.
• Excellent understanding of spatial design, materials, lighting, and color theory.
• Ability to translate client requirements into visually appealing and functional designs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Availability to work hybrid hours: three days in the office (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two days working from home as holiday cover.

This is a short-term freelance position, but there may be opportunities for future collaboration based on performance and project availability.
