Full time and part time Vets

We currently have 1 full time vet and are looking to fill 2 full time and one part time MRCVS vacancies . We are a close knit, friendly and supportive team with 5 experienced RVN's, 1 SVN and 2 VCA's, plus practice manager and a great client care team. One regular locum recently described our team as ‘the best [he has] worked with’ and two of our previous vets regularly return as locums.  

We are an RCVS accredited small animal practice with x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, haematology, biochemistry, dentistry and isolation. We are accredited silver cat friendly clinic and rabbit friendly clinic. We believe in a good work life balance and are happy to accommodate a flexible rota. We also have a visiting ophthalmologist and peripatetic surgeon for orthopaedic and advanced soft tissue surgeries. We are keen on sustainability and use low flow anaesthesia, segregated recycling and fur clipping recycling (making mats to soak up oil spills).  

We are located on a busy retail park in Bedford, with nearby shops including the Range, Home Bargains, Matalan, M&S food, Wilko, Next, McDonalds, Costa, Burger King, KFC and Boots. Bedford is on the main train line to London, and within easy reach of lovely countryside views and walks, Woburn safari park and deer park and Milton Keynes for shopping.
