Consilium Recruit is exclusively partnering a leading engineering & manufacturing group specialise in innovative solutions & products to the EV and clean energy sectors. Due to the award of new programs, they have a number of new vacancies to join their expanding team and are currently recruiting for a Functional Safety and Cyber Security Manager.

Location: Coventry, Birmingham, Leamington Spa (Hybrid working)

Salary: Dependant on experience

Suitable For: Functional Safety and Cyber Security Manager, Functional Safety Manager.

The Role

Manage the Functional Safety and Cyber Security functions.

Participate in delivery practices, concept, and design, both concept and analysis level.

Collaborating with system engineers, components engineers and external suppliers.

Safety and security and Failure analysis.

Participate in Reliability study for HW (Fault metrics calculations) and FMEDA.

Support customer reviews with functional safety input.

Deliver work products in compliance with processes for ISO 9001

Deliver tasks in line with project milestones.

The Candidate

A degree or similar qualification in systems engineering or an engineering discipline.

Proven project leadership skills.

Strong experience in working across functional safety and cyber security framework.

Familiarity with systems engineering processes from requirements capture through to design validation.

Willingness to take on roles, responsibilities and challenges required to achieve company goals and objectives, including carrying out tasks directly where required.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Able to Prioritize and organize project workloads, schedules, and tasks.
