Furniture Design Project Manager

Location: Chalgrove, Oxfordshire
Salary: Competitive, DOE
Contract: Full-time, Permanent – Part-time considered for the right candidate!
Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday-Thursday (8am-5pm) and Friday (8am-2pm)

Contrax Furniture are a medium sized manufacturer of high-end bespoke furniture and architectural joinery, based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire!

Furniture Design Project Manager – The Role

Due to ongoing high demand, we are seeking to recruit a Furniture Design Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a design & production role at a joinery manufacturer.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the generation of detailed 2D CAD drawings of joinery items for both production & CNC purposes.

You will be liaising regularly with the manufacturing team to ensure projects are completely to budget and time.

A key aspect to the role will be project management. You will lead projects from initial client briefings, through materials procurement, to overseeing installations and providing as built drawings.

Experience – What will you need to be successful in this role?

• AutoCAD LT: 5 years (required within a joinery manufacturer)
• Project Management: 5 years (required within a joinery manufacturer)
