Full Job Description

A bespoke Fit-Out Contractor with a turnover over off over 30 million is seeking a Furniture Installation Manager to join their team on a full time basis

Key responsibilities include

  • To programme, plan and manage the day-to-day delivery of the furniture (FFE) projects assigned inline with the brand.
  • To manage and update a fitters schedule and a goods in schedule
  • To brief the fitters on installations and provide them with the necessary documentation & drawings to carry out the work.
  • To ensure the fitters are presentable, on brand, and H&S compliant.
  • The installation of furniture items when required.
  • To deliver your projects on time and to budget.
  • Book required labour for upcoming furniture projects.
  • Brief the Warehouse Manager on what deliveries/collections to expect and to which project they pertain.
  • To ensure transport is booked for upcoming projects.
  • To brief the Warehouse Manager on load plan for upcoming projects.
  • To produce Operation and Maintenance manuals for furniture only projects.
  • Report when projects are at various stages of completion so that invoices can be raised.

Main tasks will be the successful delivery of furniture installations and the management of goods in and out of the Warehouse.

The ideal candidate

Ability to work in a team communicating and liaising with other team members to hit common goals and deliver projects. Ability to work with attention to detail. Good personal discipline, organisation skills and ability to develop and adhere to systems and reporting. Excellent time keeping. Presentable (client facing).Transparency, honesty, openness and keeping to your word.Hands on experience with fitting furniture (scribing etc).
