Job Duties
The School of Business at
Norfolk State University seeks candidates for an instructor in Tourism
and Hospitality Management starting in Fall 2023. The Bachelor of
Science Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management has been offered
by the University since 1988.
The faculty member will be
responsible for:
1. Teaching a range of courses in Tourism
and Hospitality Management.
2. Providing service at the
department, school, university and community levels.
3.
Supporting the school's commitment to maintaining academic
excellence.

Minimum Qualifications
1. An earned
Master's degree or Doctoral degree in tourism and hospitality or in a
related business discipline along with substantial and meaningful
hospitality management experience.
2. Superb written and oral
communication skills.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills,
personal integrity, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity.
