The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and meticulous Sales Commissions Sr. Analyst to join our dynamic Strategy & Operations team! The Sales Commissions Sr. Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely calculation, administration, and analysis of sales commissions for our sales team. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, and HR teams to implement and maintain commission structures, resolve inquiries, and drive process improvements to optimise the effectiveness of our sales compensation plans.

What You’ll Do Commission Plan Management:
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop, implement, and communicate commission plans that align with business objectives and sales strategies.
  • Maintain and update commission plan documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Monitor and evaluate commission plan effectiveness, recommending adjustments as needed to drive desired sales behaviours and outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standard methodologies in commission administration.
  • Create and maintain controls to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of commission data.
Commission Calculation and Reporting:
  • Accurately calculate sales commissions based on established commission plans and sales performance metrics.
  • Ensure timely and error-free processing of commission payments to sales representatives.
  • Review and validate commission calculations for completeness and accuracy.
  • Analyse sales performance data to identify trends, and provide insights into commission payout distributions.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate commission-related metrics and performance to Addepar's executive team.
  • Find opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with finance and human resources teams to ensure alignment of commission calculations with payroll processes and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with the Strategy & Ops team to reconcile sales data, resolve discrepancies, and address inquiries related to commissions.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, mathematics, or related field.
  • Proven experience (+ 4 years) in a sales commissions or related Sales Ops or Finance role, preferably in a high-growth tech environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software, and Salesforce CRM software.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
