Location: Blackwell, DE55 5JY

Hourly rate: Very competitive and dependant on experience

Contract Type: Full time 40 hours per week. Permanent

Established 1976, The Martin Group of Companies, provide a trained and certificated workforce of over 1,300 delivering works and support services from design, through to build and onward maintenance for the transport and waste recycling infrastructure for the UK.

The Opportunity

An active and physical role which for the right individual will be extremely rewarding. The role is responsible for completing a wide variety of gardening and maintenance tasks.

Specific duties (not exhaustive), experience, and requirements.

• Trimming trees, shrubs, and hedges.
• Maintaining paths and maintaining lawns, including mowing and fertilising.
• Weeding, planting, and edging.
• Use of tractor log splitter
• Watering and feeding plants and trees.
• Use of machinery including ride on mower, lawn mower, strimmer, hedge cutters, chainsaw.
• Maintenance jobs e.g. painting.
• Good horticultural and plant knowledge.
• Self-motivated and able to plan and schedule.
• Keen to produce a high level of finish.
• Work safely on own so an understanding of health and safety is required.
• A full driving licence as this job includes some driving.
