Garment Technologist

The fashion brand require a Garment Technologist to join their fast-paced business!

Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with design and buying teams to ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and fit

• Attend and lead fit sessions, alongside the buying and design team and making necessary adjustments to patterns and samples to ensure that garments fit correctly

• Measuring & sending clear comments of samples to suppliers and creating specs where required

• Liaising with suppliers during production to ensure technical issues are supported with clear and timely decisions to ensure shipment dates are achieved

• Working alongside the Buying and Merchandising team to review high returning styles and taking the necessary actions to reduce return rates

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Garment Technologist in the womens apparel industry.

• In-depth knowledge of garment construction techniques and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
