Garment Technologist

Full Job Description

We are looking to expand our garment technologist team and are looking for motivated fashion graduates / experienced garment technologists to join our team. You will working as part of the technical team and will helping to ensure the fabric / fit processes of products are managed in an efficient way inline with the critical paths. Key highlights of the role are as below.

• Issue size specs to design sample team to make design samples.
• get new base fabrics approved and signed off by customer if needed.
• fit garments at different fit stage in line with critical path to ensure all styles are fit approved on time in order to go into production.
• confirm care label fibre composition and care instructions to factory.
• check and approve pre-production samples/correct and production samples
• Make sure wash test reports are done and approved by customer in line with critical path dates.
• To have regular progress meetings with account merchandisers to ensure any delays/issues are highlighted asap. 

Who you are:

You should be a fresh/experienced fashion graduate motivated and willing to work in a challenging environment as assistant garment technologist/garment technologist.

Who we are:

We are a well established fashion supplier / manufacturer of jersey garments to most high street retailers with our factories based in Pakistan and our office based in Oldham.

This job will be based in Oldham.

Salary will be discussed while arranging the interview.
