Full Job Description

The ETAF -  Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Intern - will join the ETAF Head Office team and focus on collecting and analyzing data to create a business and social case for gender-inclusive lending for countries across Africa and Asia.

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Conduct thorough research, gathering data on gender disparities in lending, analysing market trends and success stories, and identifying potential risks and benefits.
  • Develop a persuasive business case by presenting financial benefits and ROI projections and proposing mitigation strategies for identified risks.
  • Craft a compelling social case by highlighting the social impact and empowerment of gender-inclusive lending and incorporating testimonials and real-life examples to support the argument.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be enrolled in a credited college graduate or undergraduate program.
  • Must be seeking a degree that offers courses in gender, business, economics, and related disciplines.
  • Passionate about Opportunity’s mission. Able to promote and communicate the organization’s goals and objectives to external and internal stakeholders.

CAPSTONE PROJECT  

Create a business and social case for gender inclusive lending for 1-2 identified countries across Africa and Asia which will be presented at the end of the project.
