Location: Cardiff

 

Days: Fridays

 

Salary: £95,000 per annum (Pro Rata)

 

About Us:

We are a leading private healthcare organization committed to providing exceptional medical services to our community in Cardiff. As part of our continuous commitment to excellence, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Private General Practitioner to join our team on a permanent basis, working two days per week.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Primary Care Services:

   - Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care services to individuals and families.

   - Conduct thorough consultations, examinations, and assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.

 

2. Health Promotion:

   - Promote preventive healthcare measures and provide guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

   - Educate patients on disease prevention, health maintenance, and general well-being.

 

3. Patient Management:

- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients based on their medical history and needs.

   - Prescribe medications, as necessary, and coordinate referrals to specialists when required.

 

4. Record Keeping:

   - Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

   - Ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information.

 

5. Collaboration:

   - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and administrative staff, to ensure integrated patient care.

   - Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of healthcare services.

 

Requirements:

 

- Fully qualified and registered General Practitioner with the General Medical Council (GMC).

- Proven experience as a General Practitioner in a private healthcare setting.

- Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Commitment to providing patient-centered care with empathy and compassion.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
