We are looking for a Global Regulatory Project Management Lead  to join us in our Global Regulatory  team, based in any of our Brussels (Belgium), Slough (UK), Raleigh or Atlanta (US) sites.

About the role

The Global Regulatory Project Management Lead is responsible for the global Regulatory Project Management team in delivery of timely, successful global submission and/or project related objectives in support of GRA and UCB.

As Team Leader, this role is responsible for line management with a focus on talent development, high quality Regulatory project management and delivery, as well as strong process and technical expertise. The Global Regulatory Project Management Lead is accountable for oversight of aspects of the team’s project management such as setting the project goal with the project sponsor, defining the project strategy, planning the project, executing against the plan and closing out through lessons learned and measuring the impact. Strong leadership, communication and project management skills are required.

Who you’ll work with

You will report into the Head of Regulatory Operations and manage a team of Regulatory Submission Project Managers

What you’ll do

  • Lead, train, mentor, coach, and develop all members of the Global Submission Project Management function.
  • Assess, manage, and allocate team resources to planning, process improvement initiatives and projects supporting company and Global Regulatory Affairs priorities.
  • Define and lead implementation of assigned business projects with appropriate project management methods
  • Monitor industry trends, identify impacted processes and technologies for continuous improvement within UCB
  • Build project roadmaps in collaboration with GRA and other business units, including resource planning
  • Provide input and monitoring of team OPEX budget
  • Manage project tools, e.g. Integrate, SAP, SharePoint, Integrated Project Plan as required by the project.

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Regulatory experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related industries with specific experience related to Project Management
  • Strong Line Management Experience and track record of developing talent
  • Knowledge of project management tools and systems
