Full Job Description
Wonderful opportunity for a nanny-teacher who loves to combine looking after children with teaching and encouraging their learning.Be the primary educator for the 3.5 years old girl who is home school, teach her basic language and maths and other EYFS skills / subjects. Organise, send and fetch her to and from playdates and other classes such as drama, tennis, swimming.
Also be the governess for the 7.5 year old boy who is home schooled and who has other specialized tutors and online classes to attend to. The children work with a learning center in London which is a personalised learning program with online classes, which are accessed at home. This person has to be flexible to bring our children there and work with our team there to provide a holistic education for our children.
Hours are 9am til 6pm, Monday to Friday (some flexbility required,
which works both ways)
Governess will not be
required to travel.
Excellent fluent English
is a must.
Requirements
Fluent English speaker
Educated through British School System (5-18)
Governess / Governor experience and references to prove
Longevity of previous positions
Excellent academic record
Sustained
experience of working with ages 3 to 10 years.
Full understanding of a 3 year old's educational and nurturing needs
and nursery duties
Up to date Enhanced DBS
(and signed up to DBS update service)
Recent
Paediatric First Aid certificate
Right to
work in UK (& already living in the UK) and living within reasonable
commutable distance of Notting Hill.
Excellent references for relevant, recent work
Able to run after small children
Excellent
written and spoken English
Education related
degree
