The Company

An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and skilled Graduate Civil Engineer to join a Civil Engineering and Infrastructure consultancy, reporting to the Cornwall office on a hybrid basis.

The Role

As a technically competent and meticulous individual with experience in design, your task will be to support the team effectively and professionally in delivering a range of multidisciplinary engineering projects.

Responsibilities

Reporting to and well supported by senior staff, your responsibilities as a Graduate Civil Engineer will include:

• Efficient problem solving
• Creating design solutions for overcoming obstacles
• Liaise with stakeholders and clients positively and profitably
• Work effectively as part of a team
• Support in the delivery of infrastructure projects

Requirements

• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering
• Experience using AutoCAD
• Experience using other design software desirable but not essential
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Demonstrate excellent technical competency
• Confident working remotely
• Cornwall-based or able to commute
• Full clean driver’s license
