Role Summary
A supporting-level team member
who consistently applies product marketing capabilities, principles
and playbooks to solve business issues and opportunities, with close
supervisory review.

personas.
• Assists collaboration with their product and marketing
stakeholders to identify KPI and success metrics for the portfolio and
initiatives they're assigned.
• Assists in the development of the
go-to-market strategy and plans based on business goals, product
readiness, and positioning.
• Supports integrated marketing and
channels to define and execute campaigns strategy and plans.

Supports market and internal readiness, in coordination with product
and sales and support teams.
• Develops an understanding of trends
in customer’s consumption habits.
• Begins developing
understanding of the market and customer preferences and purchasing
habits.
• May assist in gathering information used to conduct an
appraisal of new product ideas.
• Gathers and assists in analyzing
relevant data on competitors.
• Supports analysis of existing data
and insights to identify research needed to validate positioning and
messaging across segments.
• Develops understanding of how to
create messages and positioning that resonates with audience/segments
to drive buying behaviors.
• Develops basic information about the
users and values of the company’s products/offerings.
• Begins to
develop understanding of product marketing frameworks and how to
structure marketing briefs.
• Demonstrates basic understanding of
key terminology and key performance indicators in the industry.

Researches industry information and summarizes findings.

Recognizes different industry best practices, products and services

draft communication plan with timing and initial drafts of
communication materials.
• Uses appropriate tools/software to
develop communications and presentations.

methods and procedures by assisting others in the collection and
analysis of data.
